I chose the name, Handcraftique because it embodies three words that I wanted to put into my products; Handmade, Crafts, and Unique - "Hand" + "Craft" + "ique". All of my products are either handmade, or embellished by me personally, with some help from my partner. In addition to offering unique, handmade items, I wanted to take into account sustainability in my practice. I use fabrics that are deadstock, end bolts, or leftover from other projects. I encourage my customers to select sustainable fabrics for their shirts, bags and towels that are being embellished. When we ship your order, you may receive it in a used box (still in great shape).

As a green-minded business, we continually look for ways to lower our carbon footprint.

We are not claiming to be 100% sustainable in every product we offer, but we are doing what we can for the environment in many ways. Our facility is net-zero, in terms of the solar energy we produce is more than the fossil-fuel energy we consume. Our delivery vehicles are fully electric. We reuse and repurpose anything we can. We try to use minimal packaging and reuse most of our packing materials and corrugated boxes. Currently we are able to reuse or recycle most of our materials to minimize the trash we generate. We do not conduct mass mailings. We use reusable, eco-friendly supplies, recycled stationery and natural biodegradable cleaning products. Even our bank (Climate First Bank) is carbon neutral!
